Mediation

There are various needs, interest, values and perspectives of reality. Conflicts between people are hence inevitable and always also a chance for change and development.

Mediation is an extrajudicial way of conflict management. The mediator as a neutral intermediary supports conflicting parties in a structured procedure to develop solutions which correspond to their interests and wishes. The mediator does not decide on behalf of the conflicting parties but leads them through a constructive and cooperative discussion, enabling them to responsibly develop bespoke solutions and to reach agreements.

  • Economic mediation (conflicts within entities and organizations, team conflicts, conflicts between business partners)
  • Separation and divorce mediation (conflicts of couples)
  • Inheritance mediation
  • Neighbourhood conflicts

Mediation in particular makes sense, if negotiations or discussions are stuck and the parties are looking for an agreement by which none of the participants loses face. It is also sensible as an inexpensive and timely alternative to legal proceedings, if it is nevertheless important to keep negotiations confidential.
